Literature is Great

More than half the world's children study Shakespeare, but the story of Britain's literature doesn't end with the Bard. Classic writers like Dickens are known around the globe, and modern British writers have their own special magic.

If you'd like to talk about literature in class, there is a Literature is Great lesson plan on the British Council TeachingEnglish site.
