I love shopping everywhere, but the problem is money. In stores, you need a much money than in a flea market or something like this.
I love Rastro in Madrid, because is my town, but it was wonderful to buy in Petticot Lane in London or Khan El Khalili in Cairo

I´m Titor, I´m from México. Here there are a lot of places where you can shoopings. for example there are elegant stores like "Palacio de Hierro" where the rich people go to shopping; in the other hand exist "Tepito" this is an huge informal market, where you can shopping whatever you want, the most of the things are piracy or stolen things. Here dosen´t come rich people.
So it depends what you want.

Hi dear, I really like this conversation it makes me wanting to learn much in English.

I don't like going to shop at the malls or big department stores. I hate crowds and the people going crazy about shoes and clothes. Is that so important for them? I like wandering into a handicraft market, peep the unusual things, and always I spend more money there than I expected. Here handicraft markets don't accept credit cards.
I haven't never heard about those sites that Tess and Ravi mentioned but, I'd like know them. London must be a beautiful city, plenty of culture, museums, and great people.

I live in a big city with many shops and flea markets. There are differents shop ,cheep or not...Depends on your wallet!
I never been in London but i hope to go sometime.

In my country there are many places where you can go shopping and buy all kind of things you can imagine like clothes, antiques, food, exotic things, animals (I don't like it). A great place for shopping is downtown where you can buy anything you want and many times with good price, it's fair to say that it is too crowded though. I usually buy fruit, vegetables and meat on the street market near my house, you can buy them cheaper and better quality than the supermarket. I like to buy clothes but almost always in the stores there are many people and I always get stressed though.

Hi everyone, I'm Maria from Colombia. I love shopping in Bogota, the capital because there are too many shops, some of them are from others countries so you can buy interesting and special things and be different, where I live it's very nice shopping too but it's not the same excitement.
For the second point I´d say that shoppings in Markets give you a fresh air ´cause you can find unique clothes and the experience is quite enjoying, I do no prefer one from the another one I just can say that both are differents ways of shopping and maybe one day you need to go to the centre ´cause is more formal and there are more probabilities that you can find it there what you exact need than in a market.
Finally, for the last question, I've been there and my opinion is that in Covent Garden you can't find what you can find in Oxford Street, both have lots of shops but differents things, so maybe you can find a beautiful and from a different culture necklace in Covent Garden and an amazing boots in Oxford Street, so the products are not the same, and talking about Camden Market for me is more for tourists and drinking or eating something and a lot of party at night,

I live in the countryside and there are only a few places to shop like supermarkets, markets.. I enjoying shopping in the supermarket because it is very convenient, I can buy a lit of things and have freedom of choice.

Hello everyone and thanks again team for your job. I really enjoy this site and it's the best way for me to improve my English because I do want to learn good English.
My favorite place for shopping is the market, the place where I can find fresh vegetables and fruit. Here I'm sure that food is always on sell with the right prices.
Even if sometimes it's crowded I don't mind because I like to have a chat with people at market.
Sometimes I do shoppilg at mall with my wife but those are the days when we spend a whole day doing shopping.
And about shopping in London I never do shopping there, but I would like to see all of those places I'm sure are a really nice places that I must go to visit.

It really I am living in a small city so here is no so many places to go shopping maybe just two or three and I do not like them all ,but when I go to the capital of my country there is absolutely a lot so my favourite place to go shopping over there called ALTAHRER .
And also yes I like shopping in a centres , finally unfortunately I have not been in London any more but of course I would like to.
