Honestly i have never watched Sherlock Holmes. But after listening the podcast i think i have to watch it just to see what it actually is.Thanks Ravi,Tess,Adam and Jo.

Thank you for the great job of the British Council Team. The questions in the 8 section of this episode are difficult for me because none of these names i heard before apart from the 'batman' which i heard in an American movie. But i have learned a list of new vocabulary related to the 'crime' today. i love this program very much, thanks.
Best wishes,
Davide

Hi everybody, i 'd like to thank British council staff , i like many USA movies that give me an idea and message. i like saving private Ryan, thin red line and Cast away. thank you again.

Hi everybody!

I'm glad to listen this episode, however always you used to put interesting topic for yours listening, in concret this is very amazing, because here you can review all that you know about crime shows, thriller or crime books. In the same way it's amazing to descover how many of them there are in the crime history and the differents ways of solve crimes for each one of them.
Particularly I like batman, because here joined the fantasy or sciences ficcion with ordinary detectives for that the result it's great.

Best wishes

Hi everybody,
thanks a lot british council I'm very glad to learn English with you.

Hi everyone! Glad to be a member of this good and informative family.
Well! Sherlock Holmes! When it comes to masterpieces, I'm a novel guy. I've just started reading the "A Study in Scarlet" and I have to say it's amazing. The film is good too, but not as good as the book, and I think that is a general statement: Books are always better.

Thank you
Reza

I m not agree with u.i think movie is better.

Hi, Yes I agree with you. Reading books gives you good feeling.

Hi all anyone

Hello,
My favourite TV series in this domain (crime, detectives, mysteries) was Dexter. The main character in this series is dexter morgan who is a police blood analyst. He has has a dark side to commit murders, but he kills only bad guys who escape from justice system.
Goodbye and keep studying!
