Hi, LearnEnglish Team!
I like Sherlock. Many years ago, when I was a child I read absorbedly stories by Conan Doyle. But now my favorite detective is Colombo from LAPD. He hides his poignant mind under simpleton appearance. His manner to solve crime is very interesting and sometimes funny. I watched all series several times.

I love Sherlock Holmes, I love everything about him, his accent, sense of humour, intelligence and especially his arguments with Dr.Watson. I enjoyed watching the movie version and it's the best in my view. Also I still remember Holmes's joke in series 1 that told by Gordon, it was a good one, I liked it then.
Between all detectives shows Detective Conan is my favourite, i was and still watching it since I was 13.
I used to read Agatha Christie novels as well, it's so exciting and thrilling, I couldn't even once expose the murder by myself.
In general, I prefer epic movies and programs, I love that period, the English accent and of course men on horses. It's so great to see how people fight for freedoms, glory and countries.

I don't like Sherlock Holmes. I once watched it with my brother, but I couldn't see it all. It was very fearsome to me.

I like Conan series and I always watch it on YouTube. I also like the movies of Barbie and I find the old movies more interesting than the new ones.

My name is Hassan i'm from Egypt, but I'm living and working in Saudi Arabia.
I really like the podcasts and all British council stuff, I really enjoy them.
I appreciate your effort for making English easier for English learners.

About the podcast topic, I like Sherlock Holmes stories, I enjoy watching Mystery and crime movies like Jack Reacher (tom cruse), The Da Vinci Code (Tom Hankes), National treasure (Nicolas Cage) I can't remember all movies,

When I was kid, I used to watching cartoon series called "Detective Conan" it's a Japanese detective series, I think everyone who has the same age as me know this cartoon series it's very famous in middle east area.

Best regards,

Hello everybody! Ever since I was a child I've always loved Agatha Christie and her private Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, but I like so much Miss Marple, too. I've read almost all her books, and watched all the movies and tv series based on her characters, from the oldest (Hercule Poirot featured by Peter Ustinov, for example) to the newest...and I really really love them all!! I also love CSI series, but honestly only the Las Vegas ones, with all those lights and night life which contrast with the desert in the day life, it's like to see two different cities everytime, and the entire cast is simply great!

I love Tessssss

The First time for me to hear about Sherlock Holmes name was in one of Tom's jokes in the older seres of the elementary pod cast.
