I like to eat omelette and soup.... hold on!
Is it correct to say "eat soup"?
Can anyone help me? What am I supposed to say??

Hello Rafaela1
I say 'eat soup', and in my experience most other people also say 'eat' with 'soup'. I suppose if the soup were in a mug, I might say 'drink', but probably I'd just use the delexical verb 'have' (see https://learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/english-grammar/delexical-verbs-...) to avoid saying that since it sounds a little strange!

Thank you Kirk for your kind reply which is always helpful to me!
Maybe we usually say 'drink soup' in my language, but 'Each country has its own customs', huh?

I like many of these foods: pizza, croissant, dumplings and rice.

I like to eat sandwich but usually I put in the toaster to melt the cheese.

When I hear Chinese music out of nowhere, I feel like eating dumplings, likewise, canzone invites me pizza, chanson invites me croissans, omelette, & soup, American pop music tempts me to take away sandwich and fruit salada, Japanese pops invites me to sushi, and Bollywood film tempts me to spicy curry and rice. How about you guys?

Of these foods, I like to eat sandwich, fruit salad, pizza, omelette, croissant and soup. Also, I know to prepare rice with coconut.

I like fruit too much as a salad, juice, porridge, smoothy or raw or cooked. The other my favorite one, they are soup, rice, white meat and some kind of sandwich. But I am not a fan of junk food such as pizza, however, its taste is nice. In the whole of my life, I had no dare to try sushi, I can not imagine how taste is the raw fish.

Why i can't see any words ? my vocabulary page is empty.

Hello Matata,

It's hard for me to be sure, but it sounds like a technical issue. The page appears to be working correctly, so I would suggest you try accessing it on a different device. Some devices, especially mobile devices, do not show some kinds of content, expecially interactive content using Flash. If you are using a mobile device, try accessing the page on a laptop or desktop computer to see if this helps.
