Hi everybody.Hi the LearnEnglish Team. I really am enjoying this study English site. This site is current, dynamic and practical. And I can practice diariamente.Me and my daughter studied here with you and I'm sure we' ll progress. Thank you all.

Excuse me.what"every little bit helps" means?

I can guess Bindyu's voice. Maybe it is Tess from Elementary podcasts.
Anyway, I've listened this series through smart phone but I can't find series 3 and 4. How can I see it?

hello..
why couldn't I answer 'refuse' for question number 11 task 2?
I have looked it up in Cambridge Dictionary Online. By the way, accept is not the opposite of accept, is it?

Hello Arni,
That's a good point! I think whoever typed in 'accept' as a possible answer intended to type in 'refuse', but made a mistake. I've changed it now so 'refuse' is a possible answer.
Thanks for telling us about this - please let us know if you notice any other problems on LearnEnglish.
Best wishes,
Adam

Hi every body . It is so nice to write in this lovely website . hoping the happiness for you all ,and I would like to thank the British Council for that good teaching  saying to my friends you have to be patient and continuing learning  daily , and be eager to listening constantly until you feel  yourself  repeating the phrases automatically   .you can also see the text thank you very much bye

Hi, Task one's first question answer must be Olivia
Olivia: Oh Tony, you must be more optimistic! Try looking on the positive side!

In the first sentence, "what are you lot doing?", I understand the sentence but why Tony uses the word lot??.
