Listen to an interview with a recruitment expert, who talks about his experience of reading CVs and offers some good advice on writing them.

Do the Preparation task first. Then listen to the audio. Next go to each Task and do the activity. If you need help, you can read the transcript at any time.

Task 1

Task 2

Task 3

Weak forms are syllable sounds that become unstressed in connected speech and are often then pronounced as a schwa.

In the sentence below the first 'do' is a weak form and the second is stressed.

What do you want to do this evening?

Weak forms are very common in English. Listen carefully and fill in the gaps with the missing words typed out in full.

hi kirk
Thank you for your response
My question is, How do I subscribe to online courses with you to improve my business language in order to find follow-up of specialized teacher

Hello tareksaleh,

I'm afraid that providing individualised attention or courses is beyond the scope of what we do at LearnEnglish - we are simply too small a team to offer that level of service.

I expect that there are teachers out there who could help you with this. If you did an internet search for "business English tutor" or something similar, perhaps you could find someone.

Good luck!

Best wishes,

The LearnEnglish Team

I'm a new member. I'm so confuse and I want to learn business English it's very very immportant to me Thank you so much.

Hello tareksaleh,

Welcome to LearnEnglish! I see you've found our section on Business & Work, which is where most our materials related to business are found. You might also find other materials spread around the site that have something to do with business.

What are you confused about? We'd be happy to help you, but please ask us a specific question.

Best wishes,

The LearnEnglish Team

This page is really good and I always save all every page...

I'm a TESOL-teacher that use this site all the time. I would like to save my "favourite" assignments somewhere so I don't have to search as much every time.

How do I save different activities? Can I create a profile where I save assignments that I like? or tag them somehow?
