Hello Jamaluddin
This is often used in coversation to ask about people in a group (although it wouldn't be suitable for very formal situations). Philip uses the question to ask Marcia for information about the candidates on her shortlist.
I hope this helps

We can easily improve our cv with the help of above  info.

mmm, I found that listening is really difficult for me !
How can I easily get the meaning of the conversation by listening ?
Could someone tell me some method to improve my listening ASAP ?
I wanna listen to the news like BBC,VOA,but too fast and I can't get it at all !
Hope someone could give some advices , it'll be huge appreciated !  - -,

what u can do is listen more to these English channels and concentrate on each and every word they say.....and soon u will be able to understand them

Thank you so much !
I'll try to do .

Many students find listening very difficult, so don't get too stressed. If you find listening to the news too difficult, then start with something easier, like some of the audio on this site. It will take time and practice to improve your listening, so don't give up.
Try listening in different ways, such as focussing only on the general meaning, listening to the same thing many times, listening and reading the script at the same time etc.

My most serious promble is that I can read and understand almost words in this topic but when only listening I can't understand half of the topic's words.  Why Listening is so difficult ?

Hello Yi Wen,
It's actually quite simple. Listening is harder than reading, because you don't control the speed and you have to understand the pronunciation.
When you read, you can slow down if you find a sentence or word difficult. You can think about it or read it again. In contrast, when you listen, you don't have much control over the speed. There might also be a problem with understanding the speaker's accent.
That's why we have lots of listening activities on the site for you to practise this skill.
Best wishes,
