Hello Iris on earth,

I'm afraid we don't have the alternative versions aren't available for the You're Hired series. You might be able to see it on Youtube.

You might also want to try installing the latest version of the Adobe Flash player on your device, as it might enable you to see more videos on our site.

I have much difficult to understand what they talk on video. Even so, I watch least 6 times and after I listen and read the transcription. Sometimes I think that I am more slower than other people. But never I never give up.

Hello efcjunior,

It sounds like you're doing the right things to improve your listening. I just wanted to encourage you to keep up the hard work – your progress may be slow in the beginning, but it should get easier as you work more.

This question: "PH: They have the right kind of profile?" I thought the right way to ask something is just like this: verb+noun+complement. Example: "Have they the right king of profile?"

Hi Lucesita19,

This structure – often called a 'declarative question' – is commonly used to show that you are surprised at what you just heard. It's clear that it's a question due to the rising intonation. The most basic question structure is indeed auxiliary + subject + verb, though remember that in the present simple, 'do' is used as the auxiliary verb: 'Do they have the right kind of profile?'

I would like to practice English with friends a round the world.

Hi Kirk,

It seems that there is a problem on this video, since I cant watch it. I checked it with three different browsers, all of them updated. Thank you

Hello arisad,

I've just viewed the video myself, so I don't think it's the video itself. We've found that users in some geographical locations are unable to view some of our videos. There are a couple of things I would suggest. First, try viewing the video on this Word on the Street page – if you can't view the video at the top, click on Can't see video? Click here!, which is just a few lines below it. If you're able to view that video, then you might want to switch to Word on the Street. Another option: is to try to see some of our videos by installing one of our apps on a mobile device.

I hope one of these ideas works for you!

Best wishes,
Kirk
