It's Christmas morning! Ashlie's got a lot to do to cook dinner for the family, but can she get Stephen to help?

Do the Preparation task first. Then watch the video. Next go to the Tasks and do the activities. If you need help, you can read the Transcript at any time.

I can't see either the exercises or the transcript. Only the comments page. How can I find the transcript and the pre-reading tasks?

Hello Denise!
We had some problems with LearnEnglish yesterday. We think they are solved now, so you should be able to see both the transcript and the exercises. Let us know if you still can't see them!

British people eat at Christmas plum-pudding which is made from bread crumbs with different spices and fruits, before submission on the table it is poured with rum and lighted. British people have a tradition to hide in a plum-pudding fine silver jewelry and coins. In England a roasted pig's head is served and as the main dish Christmas bread (the bread of Christ), baked by special recipes and decorated with ritual patterns and greens. Christmas bread is cut into pieces: definitely one of the parts is given to poor, also part is allocated for the livestock. I usually assist my mother to cook. When I get a present that I do not care very much, I do not show this and thank for the present.

Hello everyone;
Thank you very much for this useful and interesting  program,but i was wondering why there are not any new episodes either on tv or on the internet,because the last one was "Christmas",so could you please tell me what is the problem if there is one!?
And I repeat my thanks to you all

Hello Foutoun,
I'm glad to hear you like Word on the Street. 'Christmas' is the last episode of this series. There is no problem - it was always the plan to make ten episodes in this series, just like there were ten in the previous series.
TV shows like this are very expensive to make and we can't afford to create a new one every week, as much as we would like to. There are lots of other videos and audio files on LearnEnglish, so if you've watched all the videos and done all the exercises on Word on the Street, why not look around at some of them?
Best wishes,
