LearnEnglish Elementary app is a series of English learning podcasts that you can download directly onto your mobile phone to practise your English on the go. It is available through the app stores for Apple, Android, Samsung bada, Blackberry and Nokia Ovi.
Help us design the next version of this application by completing this survey. It will only take a couple of minutes.
Each show, with the dynamic duo of Tess and Ravi, is 20 minutes long and comes with questions aimed at Elementary learners of English, which you can try and answer while listening to the podcast. The tapescript also moves in time with the audio to aid listening.
You can also access Tess and Ravi's Twitter and Facebook pages directly from the application enabling you to directly ask them questions about the show or anything to do with studying English.

- tapescripts for supported learning that move in time with the listening (not available via streaming)
- connect with Tess and Ravi via Facebook or Twitter
- available on the iTunes App Store, Google Play Store, Blackberry App World and selected Nokia phones. Follow the links below to download the app.

Some one can help me ? when i kick the icon to start the "Elementary Podcasts" it's do not work and show " Cache not found , please connect to internet" ,
my device is 7.7 PAD(3G) of samsung galaxy series. and internet is always on line to.

This App, like the other British Council APPs, is an awesome work. They help learners who have internet access improve their English whenever and wherever they want.
I have them in my iPhone but I can't use them all the time because in my country, Yemen, we don't have internet access in all institutions and areas. These applications help only those who are able to buy such devices, and most people in poor countries face difficulty to buy this kind of expensive devices.
I am wondering if the British Council can provide applications that do not need internet connection, and if they can contact some companies to make cheap devices that allow poor people use the British Council products to improve their English.
