Look at these two sentences with 'enough'.

I have got enough money to invest in the business.
He is good enough to work as a professional chef.

We use 'enough' before nouns but after adjectives.

Hi Newsbug,

Have you tried reading the transcript while listening to the audio? This might help you understand it more. We're happy to help you if you have any specific questions.

Or if you find this difficult to understand, I would suggest our Starting Out video series.

Hello all,
There is a sentence which was Fadi said: "you want us to carry on seeing each other ?"
I don't understand "carry on seeing each other" mean.
anybody can help me? thanks a lot!

Hi jhen,

'to carry on' means 'to continue', so what Fadi is asking is if Olivia wants to continue having a relationship with him or not.

" but it’ll have to be a no on that one too ."
Hi everyone, can someone tell me what magda want to say with this phrase?
thank you very much

Hello Cocacolum,

'...it will have to be a no on that one too' means '...the answer is no (thank you) to this suggestion as well'. It is a way to refusing a suggestion or an offer.

Best wishes,

I got it differently or in different manner.
I thought that because olivia refused the first request made by Fadi that was asking here to give him a money to invest in his project " Find london"
So the answer for the second request will be same,
So it comes like that " it will have to be no on that one too" means that she will refuse to go out with Fadi because there is nothing serious.

I hope that is correct please if i got something wrongly or if there is mistakes in my writing do not hesitate to inform me.

Hot regards to you all.

Hello mohammedalzomr4

That is correct. As I said, this is a way of saying 'no' to an offer or request. As the word 'too' is used it must be a second refusal.

Best wishes,

Thank you very much

I can't understand Sarah. Is previous Carlos's work was more high-powered than chief in cafe?
