Many of my favourite British films stars is nearly from Harry Potter. Especially, Emma Waston is one of my biggest idol, she is intelligent, lovely, kind and so on.

I often watch the movies when i felt bored. It's my best way to kill time. My favourite films are sherlock holmes and james bond. Very greatful when i watched it.

Hi everyone..
☆ How often do you watch movies?
☆ How many Brithis film stars and directors can you think of?
☆ Which are your favourite?
===================
I'm not a huge fan of movies. I wouldn't like to stay along in front of TV.
I'd just like to watch movies if I have a good mood. I'd choose action movie. However, It doesn't mean I love violence.
I didn't know where the film stars who I watched from? So, I can't tell you that.
I don't care where they come from.
But if you asked me about my favourite film star, Definitely, I'd say "Jose Mourinho".

I sometimes watch movies.I'd prefer to watch series to movies. They are prone to be more escapist than movies, though. My favourite movies are Godfather and Forest Gump. When it comes to movies I stick to old ones.As the saying goes oldies but goldies!
I can think of Liam Neeson, Daniel Craig, Jude Law, Ian McKellen, Jason Statham, Emma Watson, Natalie Dormer, Emilia Clarke so on when it comes to British film starts.
I dare say that my favourites are Liam Neeson and Jason Statham.

in the task 4 what is the rule for choosing one of (whom, whose, which and of ) for the given sentences? thank you

Hello nicky62,

The form here is quantifier + of which/whom/whose.

The quantifier tells us an amount or number: some, many, a few, a thousand etc.

We use 'of which' when we are talking about things; 'of whom' when we are talking about people; and 'of whose' when we need a possessive meaning for either people or things.

Best wishes,

Peter

hello , I couldn't find the meaning of 2 words from dictionary(sheppertons and leavesadens) would u help me please.

Hello nicky62,

These are the names of studios in the UK where films are made. Since they are proper names, you won't find them in a dictionary but a normal internet search will give you plenty of information on each place.

Best wishes,

thank you peter , I am so glad having u to answer my questions .

I don`t watch movies on a regular basis, but when I am in the mood or have some time or somebody recommends a good one I watch it. Drama and comedy are my favourites, I am so emotional and thus I prefer the films that can touch my feelings, make me cry or laugh or even think deeply. Sure I won`t mind some thriller too, you know, these ones that makes you skip a heartbeat. Forrest Gumb, starring Tom Hanks would always be the best for me, a great comedy with ever-inspiring scenes. I also like The Pianist and The Reader, and call them the perfect films, great from all aspects, acting, directing, music and every small detail.
Actually, I can`t think of how many British film stars and directors are around? There must be a big number of them, Britain is famous of its creativity and talented people. Kate Winslet amazes me by her performance and courage as in The Reader. Jude Law, the handsome guy and Sean Connery, the bond star.
