we shake hands when we first meet in China, and say how do u do! There r the rules of shaking hands, when female meet male,usually the female offer her hand first, and can not hold the whole hand, only fingers.
 some little children they bow when they meet their grandparents.

Hi. I am from Russia. Women in my country never shake hands, but often kiss each other if they are friends or relatives. Men prefer to shake hands or simply say hello.

I am Kristýna from Czech Republic.  When I meet friends I say: ,,Hello" or ,,Hi" usually but when I meet some people from family or good, old friends I kiss them. I am polite and I greet everyone, who I meet.

When we meet people we don't know very well we just shake hands, but when we meet friends and relatives we hug(anyone) each other and kiss(just females).

Hello, I am from India. We generally shake hands and sometimes hug people to whom we met.

In our traditions when we meet people we just shake hands. if we meet our relatives we hug them and this only for men.

When we don't konows we say only Hello.
