Elementary Podcasts are suitable for learners with different levels of English. Here are some ways to make them easier (if you have a lower level of English) or more difficult (if you have a higher level of English). You can choose one or two of these suggestions - you don't have to do all of them!

Making it easier

  • Read all the exercises before you listen to the podcast.
  • Look up the words in the exercises that you don't know in a dictionary.
  • Play the podcast as many times as you need.
  • Play each part of the podcast separately.
  • Read the transcript after you have listened to the podcast.

Making it harder

  • Listen to the podcast before you read the exercises.
  • Only play the podcast once before answering the questions.
  • Play the whole podcast without a break.
  • Don't read the transcript.

hi every body. my first job is when i was in college and i earned 50000 rials(about 5 dollars) in one day. that job was about statistic, and i remember i was very happy that i could earn by myself although that wasn`t much. but my next job was 5 years later after i finished my master in mathematics.

Hi!, i'm biologist and fortunately, my first job was in my profession.  It was two years ago, when I just was recently graduated from University.  The bad news is  the paid was really bad, but i accepted for the experience.

hi every body .. my first job was a pharmacy cleaner, it was so interesting job , I did my best to make the pharmacy owner satisfied , really I got too much money but not from my salary it was from the tips paid by the patient . I spent all the money on my collage .It was enjoyable because you feel that you are relaying on yourself and you can mange your life ....

My first job was in glue factory, when i was 16 years old.. But I didn't earn much money from the job and that job kind like a part time job I worked while during school stop and save money for the college...

Hello everybody,
My first job was a computer programmer.
I started working after graduation , the company i worked in was looking for new graduated engineer to work in it and I got the job, I worked in it for four years .
I earned enough money to live and buy what I want, It was an enjoyable job I liked it very much .

I have gotten a part-time job in my school,selling Soybean Milk.I have to say it was really a low-priced job,it's only ￥5.0per hour,however it was a happy experience.

 My first job is a tutor. It started when I was a 3 years student, my money was not enough, and I tried to find a job, a part time job that I could do after school to spend my student life. Tutor is a easy job that a student like me can do, then I tutored a student in grades 7. She was quiet hard study, but her basic knowledge is missing. It made me tired to explain a simple calculator or a simple thing that she didn't know. I don't tutor now. I'm going to graduate next year and my job will be an IT engineer, I hope that will be great!
