Hi everyone,
I do not often drink tea, but I love it. It is one of my favourite beverages that I most have when I finish a meal. I do not drink coffee, it does not mean it is not tasty but I did drink it when I was a teenager and I was addicted to it. I recall I had to drink it everyday or else I felt awful to get through each minute of that day. I do not know why, but I was afraid of that little desire to have it immediately. So that is why I tried to stop using it since then.
Most of the people I know, especially elderly people, usually drink a cup of coffee before having their breakfasts every early morning. And sometimes it becomes their breakfasts, it is not a good habit. But the people here have used to it and it turns to part of their busy day.

Hello Adam and Rob,

I am so excited to hear about my comment in the latest podcast  No 9. Of course¡ It would be a honor for me to take part of the international music band of the British Learning Team. Thank you for take me on account :-D

About the tea topic, here in my country the most popular hot beverage is the coffee. It is very affordable and we have very good producers here. People usually drinks coffee all mornings and in the afternoons. Normally one or two cups are taken acompanied with one or two pieces of sweet bread.

In the winter season, the mexican have two traditional hot beverages: the "champurrado" and the "ponche". The first one is a mixture of hot milk, corn flour, sugar and cinnamon. It is used in the "posadas", a set of 13 christmas parties that starts on 12 and ends on 24 of december. The second one is special for Christmas and is made of water, hawthorn, apples, tamarind, jamaica, cane, guavas, raisins, cinnamon sticks and sugar and Tequila.

Personaly, when I was a child, I really enjoyed participate in my family custom of the afternoons, when all the family sat on a garden chair to drink coffee and enjoy a sweet piece of bread.

Now I have got more lighter habits. I don´t eat sweet bread anymore. My husband and me drink a cup of green tea on the mornings, before doing excercises, because It helps to loss weigth and improve your performance. And before sleep, we drink 8 blossoms tea, it a relaxing.

Certainly, when our relatives come to visit us, we go to buy a big bag of great coffee and a big brown bag of sweet bread.

It was a pleasure to meet both of you, even by letter.

Greetings from Mexico.

Hi,
people in my country usually drink a tea for breakfast . It´s not usual to put a milk into the tea in Czech country. We use a lemon and a honey. I like it when I´m ill and I use it also when my children are too. I also like herbal tea because of its aroma and taste.

Hello, Czech Republic is my second country. I drink tea with lemon and honey almost every day and I like it very much. I believe that it´s healthy too. In Tunisia, it´s not common to drink tea with honey and it may even sound strange for some people.
When they have guests, they often drink tea but the traditional one: a mint tea that is very tasty.
