Elementary Podcasts are suitable for learners with different levels of English. Here are some ways to make them easier (if you have a lower level of English) or more difficult (if you have a higher level of English). You can choose one or two of these suggestions - you don't have to do all of them!
Making it easier
- Read all the exercises before you listen to the podcast.
- Look up the words in the exercises that you don't know in a dictionary.
- Play the podcast as many times as you need.
- Play each part of the podcast separately.
- Read the transcript after you have listened to the podcast.
Making it harder
- Listen to the podcast before you read the exercises.
- Only play the podcast once before answering the questions.
- Play the whole podcast without a break.
- Don't read the transcript.
Now, listen to the podcast and do the exercises on the following tabs.
1
Select all the true sentences.
2
Match the times in number format with the times in word format.
3
Move the words into the right gaps.
4
Put the different parts of the conversation in the right order. The first is at the top.
5
Drag the words into the right gaps.
6
Choose two possible answers.
7
Match the questions to the answers.
8
Type one word in the gaps to complete the small talk.

Hello Helenklin,
No, that feature doesn't exist at the moment. We have children who use this site and we have to protect them online. If you want to try out your English skills with other students, for now you will have to find them locally in Brazil.
In the future we plan to have a system to enable our users to contact each other.
Best wishes,
Adam

Hello ornela94, I would like to ask you "have you experienced any other languages?"
Hello,
I am a clerk for a company which sell material packing tape and stationery.
I am not a manager either a head department nor an important staff in the company.
I've worked there for over thirty years , do not strange, because my boss ,who is a kind-hearted, generous and openhanded boss, we have paid on time every month.
I can get enough for my family, I am working happily every day.
I love my job , really love.
Best wishes
Mac
