The beginning sentences were the most difficult for me because of the speed.

Hello JJF,

I just wanted to point out that our How to videos all have a Transcript (underneath the Task), which can be useful if there are some sentences that are too fast to understand at first. And, by the way, don't worry, this is normal – listen to difficult things several times and try to pronounce those bits. This will help you develop both your listening and speaking skills.

I think it is hard to catch what the man is speaking. His accent is difficult to hear. Do I undertand right that Britian is like England, Scotland or Wales ? Anyway thanks to the video I learn what is the difference between the U.K and Great Britain, really compplicated . It is a useful lession giving me good knowledge.

Hello JackQuy,

There's a transcript towards the bottom of the page (above the comments), where you can see in writing what the man and woman say. That might help you understand it better. The video on our Four Nations page might also help you – and notice there's a transcript there, as well.

All the best,

Hi, Im new on this page, I don't get so clear the meaning of "a bit of England?", its meaning like "similar"?

Hi Zitorus,

Welcome to LearnEnglish! The phrase 'a bit of' is informal and it means 'a small part of'.

Best wishes,

Hello,
Is it possible to download this video?

Hello natstrunina,

I'm afraid our videos are not available for download for legal reasons, though this particular one is part of a our free LearnEnglish Audio and Video app, which of course you can download to your phone or tablet.

I didn't know how complicated it is. I'm going to study abroad in Ireland, so I'm happy to know it.
