Playing with words
English jokes are almost always playing with words - so..an apple turnover is a type of cake. If you want to make an apple turn over, push it. But it is a joke to show that words can be played with to create new meanings. By the way, Apple Turnovers are very nice!

interesting.......but difficult to understand quickley for me
at first sight, i get confused that why the two citris fruits want an apple to roll down....after go through the comments of participants, i felt we are also turned over like an apple by the lemon. This is humorous for me.
