Have you ever been in a band? What was the name of your band? What musical instrument do you play? What style of music do you play? Are you still playing? And, if not, why did you stop?

We love reading your comments and we reply to some of them each episode.

I never plays any kinds of music instruments. But I love them due to their different melodies. But I have been interested in piano. I hope one day in my life I can take a piano lessons. I feel too romantic to play a piano with the song I love. Nice day.

Dear Rodoljub,
I'm afraid the only way to find out if what you have written is grammatical is to get a teacher etc. to check it. We have thousands of users on LearnEnglish and we don't have enough teachers to provide this service for all of them.
You might find that another learner will give you advice about your language if you ask.
Best wishes,

Hi members,
- I´m a musician´s son. My father was a pianist and musical instruments at my home was an ordinary thing, I mean, there were piano, acoustic guitar, keyboard and so on. I started to play guitar when I was  child. I was 8 years old. I heard a lot of instrumental music like Jazz, Rumba, Mambo and so on but the style of music wich influenced me was "Bossa Nova" a Brazilian style of music with a large influence of Jazz. It have a complex harmony with a beautiful melody. Bossa Nova is enjoyed around the World since 60´s. There are a lot of famous Bossa Nova´s songs. The Girl of Ipanema is one of them. Many important singers around the World recorded it in different languages. At moment I use to show my musical talent playing and singing in Pubs. This is my second professional activities.
Best Regards

Hi,
I'm a newbie and I have a question,
which way do you think is better? which you suggest or which you do yourself?
first listen to the podcast and see the transcript line by line synchrony or
listen the podcast and transcript separately? I mean listen the podcast first without transcript and then check it.
thanks in advance
