hello teacher.
I'm a new member. I find this page very helpful for me.
I have a question and I hope you can answer it for me
" I will see you again sometime."
Is it the sentence right?if yes, can you show me the meaning?
thank you very much

Hello thuytun,

The sentence is fine grammatically but its meaning will depend on the context in which it is used. It could be a prediction about the future, a threat, a promise, a warning...

Best wishes,

Peter

thanks for your help!

I sometimes cook at home.
I love boiled potatoes.

Please tell me which one is correct a) He was to go hospital b) He had to go to hospital

Hello Mohammad Shazedul Islam Khan,

Both of these are possible. Which is correct will depend upon the context.

Would you mind sending each example of these two .

Hello Mohammad Shazedul Islam Khan,

I think a better approach will be for you to tell us what the context is in which you have seen them, or what you are trying to say, and then we'll suggest which of the two is the correct sentence to use.

Best wishes,

Peter

Dear team

He has covered in mud because he ............. on the farm all day .

Thanks in advance

Hello Teacher-HQ,

I'm afraid we don't answer questions like this from homework or other exercises. We're happy to explain things from our site, but we can't offer an answering service for these kinds of questions.

I will tell you that the sentence is not grammatical. It should begin 'He is covered...'

Best wishes,

Peter
