hello teacher!! i am the new member in your team, am looking forward to become good in speaking and writing English.

please correct me in this sentence, You have to do your best/You should do your best

Hello Emmy Berther,

Welcome to LearnEnglish!

Both of these are grammatically correct. 'Have to' is stronger - it suggests obligation or necessity. 'Should' is weaker and suggests advice.

Best wishes,

Peter

I cook at home occasionally.

At times, I do also buy takeout. Or eat out at a restaurant. With little kids, and a full time job, it is hard to cook at home everyday.

Jacket potatoes are my favorite. I like a lot of coleslaw, baked beans, and cheese on them. In North America, they are known as Baked Potatoes. And interestingly, people don't put as many toppings on them as they do in UK. Basically, butter and ketchup.

hello teacher.
I'm a new member. I find this page very helpful for me.
I have a question and I hope you can answer it for me
" I will see you again sometime."
Is it the sentence right?if yes, can you show me the meaning?
thank you very much

Hello thuytun,

The sentence is fine grammatically but its meaning will depend on the context in which it is used. It could be a prediction about the future, a threat, a promise, a warning...

Best wishes,

Peter
