i love you forever. it is really helpful to improve my English capacity.

hello, Thanks for all these amazing videos .Please , I would like to ask about something I couldn't hear well. Rob says on :39 I have got this ,......???? Thanks

Hello littlemoon86,

Rob says "I've got this big sack here with some Christmas things inside".  A sack is what Santa Claus traditionally carries with him when he comes down the chimmney.

Best wishes,

It's ok to eat chocolate as long as you dont have too much. :)
To be honest, when I eat chocolate i cant stop myself since I finish it.

Sorry, but I can't find the transcript. Can you check it again, please.

Hi williamha,

The instructions on this page were incorrect, as we do not have transcripts for the Language Focus videos in Word on the Street. I've now fixed the instructions on this page - thanks for your help with this!

But of course that doesn't help you very much with your question, does it! If there's a specific sentence or two that you have questions about, please feel free to ask us. If you do this, it would be very helpful if you could tell us at what time the sentences begin in the video.

Best wishes,

Hi Kirk, thank you for your help. Actually, I couldn't hear some words the teacher said, and I wanted to find them in the transcript as the instructions told me. So I was curious that it was not there, but that's not the problem. i can catch the main idea. Thank you and hope this fantastic program will continue for long

Hi All,

The question is How to use following idioms:
"Come hell on high water" & "Blessing is disguise"
Please give a example of each..
Thanks and continue it forever

Hi James-canada,

Those are two interesting idioms, but they are slightly different from what you have written:

The first is 'come hell or high water' and the second is '(that's) a blessing in disguise'.

To check items like this you can use the dictionary search tool on the right.  It will give you a definition, plus some useful grammatical and phonological information so it's a very useful tool.  Try typing in 'hell or high water' and 'a blessing in disguise' and you'll get the information you are looking for.

Best wishes,

Peter
