Task 1

Task 2

Task 3

'Unless' means 'If ... not'. For example:

  • You're not going to finish the race unless you start training hard.

This means:

  • You're not going to finish the race if you don't start training hard.

hello, please explain to me, why is it in task 1 "Stephen's personal trainer promises to pay some money to charity if Ash finishes the marathon". I mean Ash might not finish the marathon, only participate in it but still get sponsored anyway because when she asked for it, the trainer said yes.

Hello quoc hung,

This kind of sponsorship is different from the sponsorship which a company uses for marketing purposes. When someone sponsors another person in a charity event they promise to give some money provided a certain goal is reached. For example, the trainer might promise to give Ashlie £20 if she finishes the half-marathon, or the trainer might offer £1 for every kilometre completed. Various forms of sponsorship are possible but they generally all require the person to achieve a goal if the money is to be paid.

Best wishes,

Peter

To stay fit, I like to walk 3 times in a week. I recommend to do this to everyone who read this sentences. I try to do 15km stepping in each time. Mostly I walk in the morning between 7.00 am - 9:30am. In summers as a sport I like to do swiming, climbing, white river rafting, a week stay and lodge in Olimpos Tree houses area.

Hello, guys, I dislike gym!
I hate doing weight because are unnatural movements, I prefer natural sports like swimming, football, boating etc...

Hello guyz, I don't like to go to the gym because it's an unfree sport movements ( unnatural )! Personally I think could be one of the easiest way to get fit but not the healthiest!

Most of time, I go swimming outside office hours, so I keep fit and it's good for my health. But a good balanced diet is important too.
I was close to take part in a race to raise money to fight breast cancer, but I didn't, may be next time.

How do you like to keep fit?
First, eating healthy food, second do excercise in a gym and finally, walk back to my house from my office at least once a week.

Have you ever participated in a race to raise money for charity?
No really. I would like to do it someday.

I'm doing sports to keep fit and no, I haven't but I would like to :)

I am doing exercies to keep fit
