I like to travel by bus because i love to enjoy the ladscape, but if my time is short and the city is too far, I prefer a plane is more comfortable and fast. I would like to go to my job on bike, but it is impossible in formal clothes and using heels.
Greetings.

Manizales is a small city in Colombia. Is located in the Andes on a mountain. Has three main avenues, an the traffic is slow specialy in the morning before 8 o`clock when people go to their job, between 12 p.m. and 2:00 p,m, and after 6:00 pm when people go home.

People go everywhere, by bus, on car or motocycle. Some persons like to go on bike, but have to climbe to arrive at downtown, while the most of the people like to walk on Santander avenue, crossing from east side to west side of the city.

The bus service is good and cheap it woks from 5 am to 11 pm. The cab service is good too, you can ask for one by telephone, by a celular app or on the street, but when is raining or on weekend, is not ease to get one, you have to be patient.

There is an air cable, but just conect Villamaria with Manizales transportation terminal and Fundadores park near Manizales downtown, that is the reason, is really useful just for people who live in Villamaria Town.

Greetings.

I would like to meet Michael Porter. He is economist and aerospacial engineer, he also has a Master in Bussines Administration and a PhD in economics, is a very smart person. He works in Hardvard University. and Is one of the most important writers about management and corporative strategic, He has wrote about 18 books and 125 articles. Managers, CEO's, teachers and students read his papers and books. He is well known by his competitive diamond, a theory about how a company could be better and leader in its industry.

Hè is advisor for the bigest companies in USA and travels around the world making conferences for academics, entrepreneurs, executives and goverments, cause competitiveness is a way to improve social and economic development for a nation, and everyone has to be compromised in this purpose.

Porter came to Colombia in 2011 and had strong criticizing about economics and productive policies. I had liked to see him in that time, but it was an invitation for a few.

I realy admire this man, and I think it would be amazing for me to drink a cup of coffee in Juan Valdez in Manizales Colombia, to talk about competitiveness and Colombian coffee.

Greetings from Colombia.
