I have been trying to learn english  for  months. I thought that how can I remember meanings of  all words so i began to learn all oxford dictionary 's words and then I had learnt thousands of word  and I completed all these characters meaning - J-Q-V-X-Y-Z.but now i am confused that i want to  do job in international call center so please advise me.

Hello Shaan,
I'm very impressed that you learned thousands of words. Did you learn them only to recognise them or can you also use them when you speak or write?

hai dude,
i'm a new comer. i want to improve my vocabulary, grammer and speaking.
i have been a student in British Council/Srilanka.
i'm in Pre-intermediate-2.

@doqmai you are modest  means you are usually modest
you are being modest means  at the time of speaking you are modest

i dont know clearly about this sentence :' you're being modest'
i mean why do 'are' and ' being' can go together?

you're being modest means at the time of speaking but not always
you're modest means you usually modest all the time

Hello,
The verb 'to be' is not normally used with the present continuous, but when the meaning is connected with behaviour then it is possible.
Best wishes,
Adam
