can we practice English together to enhance our skills?

Hi. It's great video.
I learned many phrases like: Top sound , have you got cold ones and over there.

Hey folks!
I learned many new phrases, this video is very useful.
But, I have some problem to pronounce the expression "Here you are"
Another phrase I learned today was "Have you got could ones?", why does this phrase isn't "Do you have could one?"? Because Gemma is asking for one bottle?

Hello Israfael,

"have you got" (present perfect) is a different way of saying "do you have" (simple present).
I've got a car = I have a car.
It's nice to learn how to use "have got". Good luck with your studies!

Hello Israfael,

In the shop we can use the singular form (Have you got a cold one?) to ask for something, but we can also use the plural form (Have you got (any) cold ones) to ask if there are any in the shop. Both forms are possible.

The phrase Here you are is a very common polite expression and people say it very quickly. One trick to help you is the imagine there is a w sound before are. This is called an intrusive sound and we use them when we are producing fast connected speech. It sounds something like this:

Here you ware.

The LearnEnglish Team

I have noticed that, they use "have you got" question form instead "do you have" structure. I found that video beneficial.
