superlative adverbs

We can use superlative adverbs to make comparisons:

His ankles hurt badly, but his knees hurt worst.
It rains most often at the beginning of the year.

Intensifiers:

When we intensify a superlative adverb we often use the in front of the adverb, and we use these words and phrases as intensifiers:

easily - much - far - by far

Exercise

Hi Ayank,
We don't have any materials for adult phonics on the site at the moment, but there are some which I plan to publish in the next few months. I don't know about materials for kids very well and my colleague who does is on holiday. I will ask her when she gets back to reply to your comment.
Best wishes,

Hi Ayank
Over on the LearnEnglish Kids website we are in the final stages of developing a new section based on the UK phonics programme, Letters and Sounds. We'll have songs, stories, downloadable worksheets, games and lots more! It should be ready to go live in the next few weeks. I hope you enjoy the new materials.
Best wishes

how does a housewife differ from a homemaker?

Hello,
That's an excellent question! They have almost the same meaning, but there are important differences. 'Homemaker' emphasises what the person does to organise a home and it's also a term which can be used to describe men or women. 'Housewife' is almost always used to describe a woman.
Finally, I believe 'homemaker' is more often used in America.
Best wishes,
Adam
