While you listen
Elementary Podcasts are suitable for learners with different levels of English. Here are some ways to make them easier (if you have a lower level of English) or more difficult (if you have a higher level of English). You can choose one or two of these suggestions - you don't have to do all of them!
Making it easier
- Read all the exercises before you listen to the podcast.
- Look up the words in the exercises that you don't know in a dictionary.
- Play the podcast as many times as you need.
- Play each part of the podcast separately.
- Read the transcript after you have listened to the podcast.
Making it harder
- Listen to the podcast before you read the exercises.
- Only play the podcast once before answering the questions.
- Play the whole podcast without a break.
- Don't read the transcript.

I'm from Milan. I would like to point out that the weather has been changing continuously since at least 10 years. I mean winter is not the same than 10 years ago as well as summer. This autumn for instance is unusually hot with very heavy rains that are causing a lot of problem here in Italy. We can say that Italian climate is not mild anymore but it became tropical.

Hi, I live in Vigevano, Italy. Today the weather it's very foggy. Vigevano is near Pavia and Milano and is in the Pianura Padana, The fog is a normal weather in this place during autumn and winter. In winter the temperature are very cold,about 0 grades, while in summer they are normal, about 35 grades. In summer the problem is umidity. In this place it's very high, about 90 %.

Hi everyone. I'm Cristian from Bogotá, Colombia. The climate in my city doesn't change a lot, but because of the geographic position of my country, you can go to near cities and take a great tropical sun. Right now it is raining outside my flat, this is the worst season of the year, it rains a lot! Temperatures about 20 C are common on hot days while you should feel like 2 C on cold days. Bye.

Im from morrocon in my country the weather is soo good in whole the year,in the winter the weather is not very cold than other cou tries and not changing at all the times.we have the four season normaly.
in the summer the weather is hot durring three month,and all the tourismes come to morroco in this season because the weather here is good for health and for swimming.
