Elementary Podcasts are suitable for learners with different levels of English. Here are some ways to make them easier (if you have a lower level of English) or more difficult (if you have a higher level of English). You can choose one or two of these suggestions - you don't have to do all of them!
Making it easier
- Read all the exercises before you listen to the podcast.
- Look up the words in the exercises that you don't know in a dictionary.
- Play the podcast as many times as you need.
- Play each part of the podcast separately.
- Read the transcript after you have listened to the podcast.
Making it harder
- Listen to the podcast before you read the exercises.
- Only play the podcast once before answering the questions.
- Play the whole podcast without a break.
- Don't read the transcript.

Hello to everyone! I live in the South of Italy, near Napoli. The most changeable period here are the months of March and Avril when the temperature is already mild but often it rains. The coldest months are January and February. The rest of the year is very good, may be for someone july and august are too hot...but i really love it! Bye

I'm Slava and I'm from Russia. I live in Belgorod town. The weather's so different in each season. In summer here is quite hot, and winter is too cold and snowy. The highest temperature was +40 deg. here the summer before last. The coldest month is February, is about -20 -30 deg. I really like Summer!
I live in São Paulo, Brazil.
São Paulo is the a city in Brazil located in southeast. The weather is crazier of our country. It never snow during the year, but the weather changes a lot, mainly in the summer on the jan and feb months. In a crazy weather day we can have a sunny morning, after a very stuffy afternoon, then strong wind following with a heavy rain with flood. And the next day with a cold day with 17 Celcius that to us is cold.
The best weather of the year is the summer/spring between Oct and Apr months. The temperature varies between 20 - 34 Celcius Most people like these season.
On the winter the temperature varies between 6 - 17 Celcius. It's drizzle a lot.
Many people in the south and southeast of Brazil travel to northeast during the winter, over there is summer all year doesn't mattering the time of year.
Hi, this is Hemant from India. Here we have 3 seasons, summer, winter and monsoon, of 4 months each. The weather is dry in summer with temperature around 50 degree Celsius in some part of country. It is wet during monsoon and cold during winter.

Hi my name is Jennifer, I'm living in Hong Kong. The weather in Hong Kong separate into four seasons, spring, summer, autumn & winter. I love the weather in autumn very much not very hot & cold, the temperature normally is between 15-20 degree, But nowadays, autumn time is getting shorter and shorter & the summer time getting longer and the highest temperature nearly 36 degree.

I'm from Galicia, in my city (Ferrol) rains all the year round, the best months of the year are July and August thought this depend of the year because sometimes rains in a August and July, Generally the worst month are May and April but the same that summer depend of the year.
