Hello ericalty,

Thanks very much for letting us know that you like the app! On Tuesday 20 October, episode 12 will be released and then another episode will be released every two weeks up until episode 20, so you'll soon have a new one to listen to.

All the best,
The LearnEnglish Team

I really enjoy music! My favorite style is rock. It's so exciting for me. Basically I listen to English songs, so it helps me to improve my English. My favorite groups are Skillet, Three Days' Grace and Imagine Dragons.

Hi everyone,
I'm new here.
First, I want to thank to your team..
My question is -
When we use these nouns (Physics, statistics, mathematics.... ) as a subjectsubject
Exp -
Physics is a difficult subject. ( verb is singular)
His physics are bad. ( verb is plural because of possessive pronoun)
But why this is not right sentence? ( his English /science are bad.) ?

hello Loving Monty,

The possessive pronoun has no affect on the verb here. I would say 'His physics is bad' and would use a singular verb form for all academic subjects.

Best wishes,

The LearnEnglish Team

i am newer , where can i find a "Read all the exercises" ?

Hello dingzhaojie,

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'read all the exercises'. Could you explain please?

Best wishes,

The LearnEnglish Team

I love music from different languages and cultures. I dob't care about songs (poem). In my opinion the music is a worldwide language by itself and every body can underestand it. I listen to a variety of musics.. Spanish, arabic, English, Russian, turkish, kurdish,... and it I think is not nesessary to understand the words. It is all about feelings and emotions not philosophic idia.. So there is no need to understand the woeds

On every episode , I leave the comment but my comment never be shown and it's not included in the transcript , Jo and Adam please read my comment and some day add it in the transcript .Thanks Jo and Adam . Have a nice day.

Hello Farkhanda Bashir,

I've just checked and found many of your comments on previous Elementary Podcasts pages (e.g. here's your comment in Episode 10), so the good news is that it appears that they've all been published. Perhaps you haven't seen then since we get a lot of comments on each podcast and only a certain number appear on the first page; if you look past the first pages, you should see them.

Please also rest assured that Jo and Adam read every comment. In fact, they are very careful to read through all of them and it's quite difficult for them to choose which ones to include in the next episode. They'll see this message, too, though I'm afraid I can't make any promises.

Thanks very for participating, and please keep listening!

All the best,
The LearnEnglish Team
