S: Can you tell me what event recounts are?
L: Well, it's when you write about a series of events that happened in the past. It could be a series of historical events or it could be some events that happened to you or to people that you know.
S: Why would you do that?
L: Well, if you're telling a historical account, then that might be part of showing that you know about events in history, for example. Or the events that led up to a crash, for example. But if you're writing about how you behaved or how, for example, members of your team behaved, it gives you an opportunity to reflect on your actions and try and understand what you did well and how you could do better in the future.
S: Oh, I see. Thanks..
