Not that stressful because I am on a vacation so it is stress free here.I do not have lots of work to do except taking good care of my three children. But when I am stressed i just smile and try to show other people that I am okay and I am trying my best to be okay. You are really right, having stressed makes you do better because this gives you a realization that you do plan next time to avoid that situation

When I have some stress I usualy jok 5 or 6 kilomiters. That's the best way for me to fight against stress.

There are lots ways to get the stress in life. The primary source maybe causes from family, work or life peformance. According to writer's opinion, I think "relax" word is the bottom line when anyone want to release the stress. Substantially, stress is a common part of life, it can be suddenly soak into your brain through thinking or activities anytime, even you don't want to be. For me, relax by watch something fun or play video games that could make me reduce stress instantaneously. But it sometimes could not beat the stress and then stress definitely go with my work or study for whole day. You know, stress make me feel uncomfortable and easy to get annoy when everything happen. Maybe here, I think playing more and more video games will make me releasing stress forever..
Thanks !

Talk about tense and stressful life is easy to me. My life is very stressful once I have to publish my researches what involves the approval of the reviewers, and that is to much stress!!! A big part of this stress comes from the fact that a don't have fluency in English, because it is not my mother language. For relieve this stress I'll sometimes go running or swimming. I also practice Yoga, and that make me feel so much better! I think the STRESS theory fantastic! It makes sense, when you smile more, sleep well, eat healthy food and practice exercises, definitely your life will be better! And smile is the easier part, it is natural! However, the hard part for me is organize my time to do all things that I have to do, and worst, choose what is more importante and what a can be done later or in th next day. These part let me anxious and stressed!

Yeah, I know i need to control myself!! :)

Hello learning English team,
I am a bit confused with the answer of question three in this task: "if you have too much to do, you should reorder your day".
In the transcript, it says: "you don’t have to schedule too many things in your day and if you feel you are too busy, you can cut out an activity or two." and I thought it means "if you have too many things to do, you should not do as many things in one day." which is the answer I chose.
I did not get the answer. Would you clarify it for me, please?
Many thanks in advanced.

Hello NA7,

You are right! I've changed the exercise so that the answer for the third statement is now correct. Thanks very much for reporting this to us!

All the best,

I am student of english and i really liked the way you offer help to learners I need help doing my oral presentation with no clear idea to talk about so i will be glad if you offer help to me about the topic i'll talk about and thank you

best wishes

Hello bella jas,

If the topic of your presentation is open, i.e. you can choose, I'd recommend you choose a topic that interests you. It's also usually a good idea to choose something specific. For example, a presentation about a certain breed of cat is probably easier to prepare than a presentation about cats in general. I'm not sure how long it's supposed to be or what other guidelines you have, but I'd also think about those when you choose a topic.

I hope this helps you.

Best wishes,
The LearnEnglish Team

why is third answer is answer no 2.the speaker says if you are too busy try to cut1 or 2 activity in a day

Hello hasheef,

Cutting one or two activities is different from reordering your day. If you reorder then you do things in a different sequence, but still do all of them. The speaker suggests cutting activities, which means not doing them.

Best wishes,
