Everybody seems to be not satisfied at all. Why? We would be all happy only if we were satisfied with what we have already. For example, we already have good friends, we already have been living until this age, we do not have any war around us.... Don't you think so?

I don´t think so , actually I do believe everyone is always looking for a step forward , when they achieve their goal they start another goal again and again , I think this make our life interesting isn´t it ? don´t accommodated . and yes , there are a lot of people unsatisfied with every thing and I don´t like to be with this kind of people , finally if we don´t complain about something sometime we don´t have subjetc to talk about with our mates , so we have to say something

Thank you.

Hello LearnEnglish Team,

In the context below, if we delete the "as", will there be any change in the meaning for the expression: "perhaps not as yet"?
Johnny: Well, no, perhaps not as yet, not exactly...

Thank you,

Hello Kaofeng,

In this context you can use either 'as yet' or 'yet' with no change in meaning. I would say that 'as yet' is rather more formal.

Best wishes,
