Hello

  The statement
Olivia; Oh Tony, you must be more optimistic! Try looking on the positive side!
It means Olivia calls Tony "Optimistic"
but in task question 1 of 8 there is no true option.
If I am false then sorry and If you are false then do not mind please.

With best thinking

Major Padda

Hi Major,
In this sentence Olivia is not saying that Tony is optimistic. 'Must' has many uses and here it is being used to express 'strong recommendation.' Olivia is basically saying that Tony should be more optimistic.
I hope this helps. Please don't post the same question more than once. It takes time for your questions to be posted as we have to read them first.

Hello Adam,
Can you tell me something about the question I submitted on June the 28th, relating to Carlos expression "I like more of a challenge" ? I still don't understand what Carlos means.
Thanks
Regards

Hello Adam,
"I like more of a challenge!"
To like more of a challenge... Is that an idiomatic expression ?
Does that mean Carlos wants a bigger challenge ?
Thanks
Regards

Hi,
You're right: Carlos wants a bigger challenge.
This isn't really an idiom because the meaning is fairly clear form the words themselves - That's why you understood it! Idioms are often difficult or impossible to understand and use without learning their context and definition.

Hello

I was wondering if you could put a section to further the writing abilities of learners. You know, something like  flash exercises with blanked words to complete and items like that.

all the best,
