Nice episode! Task 4 enjoy me, especially, when i tried to find the opposite word of small, i spent a lot of time there, at this moment i was thinking about the one correct answer "big")) i tried seriously search it again and again, but on the field was only four letters "i", with which i could make combination of the word "big", but it wasn't possible in the reason of rules, only cross, diagonal and line)) 1 minute after - yes,  i guessed the right answer is "large". I was was very glad, when i came to this after a while!!))

1. About listening:
I can't hear clearly the last words of the sentence "Let's wait until then, though" and these sounds: should have set it up; Should have asked me
The way to link sounds among words? Help me please!
1. Why use simple past and past continous tense in the sentence "I thought we were going to the cinema"?

Hello an-ttt!
I am not sure what to say about your first question - what are you missing about then, though?
For Should have set it up & Should have asked me, is it the have sound that you are missing? This is called a weak form, and is quite common. Rather than stress every word, we use an unstressed syllable for have because it is not very important. It sounds a bit like 'uv', and is quite common. Listen out for it!
As for your grammar question, this is a statement about past plans. What this means is that Bindi and Harry had an arrangement. For arrangements, we use present continuous ("We are going to the cinema"). When plans change, we use the past tense to talk about the old plan - Harry was going to the Cinema, but now he is going to Olivia's house.

The thought just means at first Bindi thought she and Harry had a plan - but now she thinks something else.
Hope that helps!

Hi, i am Hedi from Iran. I like this site and i am used to listen to the listening every night. But i can't load the tasks. The tasks load slowly and it doesn't work. Please tell me how to do that. Thanks in advance.

Hello, Hedi!
Sorry to hear you're having problems. The tasks look OK to me, and seem to work, so can you help me by answering a few questions?

  • When did the problem start for you?
  • Which web browser are you using? (Firefox, Internet Explorer...?)
  • What do you see where the tasks should appear? You say they don't work - do you mean you can't select answers or they don't show at all?
  • Have you tried any other web pages on LearnEnglish?
  • Do you still have the same problem if you use a different computer?

Let me know the answers, and we'll try to solve the problem!
