Hello! I'd like to know what level do we need for these podcasts.
Romania

Hello,
As it says on the main Britain is Great page, 'the videos are lively and fast-moving - best if you're already confident with your English.'
I think CEF B2 would be a good level to understand a lot of the video, if not all. CEF B1 would get a lot out of them, but find some of the dialogue tough.
Best wishes,

Hello, I wonder why metres has an "s" for 315 metres across and no "s" for 133 metre tall. Thank you.

Hello,
That's a good question! It is based on whether the number comes before or after the noun. Look again at the text and see if you can work out the rule.
Best wishes,

The world’s finest football players have given us some of history's greatest sporting moments on this very pitch.
What is the meaning of "very"  in this sentence? Please tell us.

Hello Anh Quân Chu!

Don't forget we have a dictionary on the site! Type in very, and you'll see the second meaning is very (EXACT). It says '(used to add emphasis to a noun) exact or particular' and gives several more examples. Take a look!

My favourite sport is football. I like this, because football is very energetic, fast and mobile kind of sport.
I prefer to watch football, but sometimes i play it.
Football is very popular sport in Russia. In our country there are some good football team, but our national team lost the last Euro championship...

Hello Vadim! It' s very interesting what you say. But what football teams do you think are good in Russia? I remember Spartak and CSKA, what are others?
I wish next time Russia has better results in national championships and other football cups!
