Hello Hasti,

Thanks for your comment. Don't stop reading! Even if you only find ten minutes in a busy day, reading is great in so many ways. And, of course, if you can read in English then it will really help your language skills. You can find plenty of graded readers at all different levels of difficulty.

We read every comment on LearnEnglish but we don't correct the comments. We have thousands of users and many comments every day, so it's just not something our small team can do, I'm afraid.

The LearnEnglish Team

sometime i read books and some time i watch movies . it depends, film and books both of improve our knowledge .I think both of benificial for us and also i agree with voice number 4 what did he say ..

I prefer books if i could understand. I can imagine what i want to the character and it make my brain work more.I can make a picture in my hear. When i want to use my brain a lot, i read book. OR if i need pleasure, i watch film.
My new words from in this episode are fancy, stuff, what does they come from, nine forty.

Well, as Tess said, I disagree with them, but there were some interesting opinions there. Some times I prefer read the book because it conteins more details, and if it's belong to a good writer I can really enjoy the reading. On the other hand I always enjoy a good film not matter if I read or not the book.

I think it dependes on the genre. The exiting genre is better in the film,But the Comedy or Drama on the books are too better.

Hi friends, from México
So, I love the movies, but, my favorites are CiFi movies. In my country, people don't like it to read books because, the good ones and the bad ones books there are very expansive. There are many book festival's, new books presentation, seminaries of literature, libraries, schools and universities, all them have a many books and novels, but nobody buy it a expansive book. Otherwise, young people or 'Milennials' tennagers, love the festivals about your heroes games, and fantasy legends. COMIC CON is a festival meeting with young people whose love the costumes and Cosplay about your heroes, the personalities, like the movie actors or tv shows series. Well, I think in this century, all the people will say... goodbye to the book
That's all for now, see you then.

Hello from México
Many people in this land, love the football. From wednesday to sunday at night, there are football match. There are two soccer League. First Division league, called Liga MX for men players and Liga MX Femenil for women players. But I don´t like it to see the women match, because... the game... they are very boring. So, what are you think about this.

I personally prefer reading the book first and then watch the movie, I like how books describe every detail and the fact that you must let go of your imagination to understand and shape the characters and how you can feel like you're one of the book's characters. Later when you watch the movie with the sounds and all the stuff you will feel how deep is the characters structures and the story.

I prefer read the book and then watch the film. It's hard to compare staff like that but I disagree with the person who said that you got more from the film. I think the film can't describe the whole book. It's just too short for that.

I prefer the books because they allow to create your own scenario while reading the lines, so I agree with the voice number 4. While reading a book you must use your imagination to create unique images in your mind, the sounds and all the rest of the stuff that a movie shows to you when you go to a cinema.
Although the sounds and video effects are really interesting too, I like to read more than watch a movie in most of the occasions.

Thanks for the podcasts, are really good for practise all the English skills.
