What are the best – and worst – things on TV?’ What about you? What do you think about TV programmes?

usually I don't watch on TV due to that you can watch anything that you want by internet so I spend lots of time on my laptop even when I want to see football matches but I can say that the best things on TV that you watch football matches with your friends, Films and documentary shows.on the opposite side the worst things are: news channels and limited choices.

best wishes for you.

Hi team, I've got a doubt from Task 3_Carolina(2)
Why does Jamie ask to Carolina "What are you drinking?"(correct option) rather than "What will you drink?"(incorrect option) ?
if Carolina just arrived to the pub and it's not drinking anything yet.

Thanks.

Hello jmajo

'What will you drink?' is not correct here, as we don't use 'will' to speak about what we want in a situation like this. You can read more about 'will' on our 'will' and 'would' and Talking about the future pages.

'What are you drinking?' is an informal way of asking someone what they would like to drink in a pub or bar.

Best wishes

OK, thanks.

Altough there are lots of TV programmes nowadays to choose, I prefer the documentaries and the biographical movies. I don't hate any TV program, but in my opinion, the reality shows are the worst by far, they are a waste of time.
Thanks for the episode!!.

I prefer documentary films and informative transmissions to news. Usually news are aggressive, not informative and not intresting at all.
I like some movies. It depends on my mood.
And I hate reality shows. I've never watch any of them. But saw some fragments or announcements.

Here is the whole sentence : Jake: Thanks. OK, let’s get these back to the table. I’ll take the lagers –if you can bring the …..
It is the last sentence in the section 6 "Carolina".
I understand : if you can bring the crips over here...
Is that right?
Thank you very much...

Hello josette poisson

What he says there is: 'if you can bring the juices and the crisps over, yeah?'

Does that make sense? 'yeah' is a kind of tag question here, kind of like saying 'OK?'.

All the best

hello Kirk

I am frustrated because I didn't understand the very last word in the section 6 (Carolina) and the transcript stops with some suspension point... before the end of the last sentence . Is it "over here?"
thanks for your answer!

Hello josette poisson,

I'm not sure which part you mean. Section 6 ends with Ravi, Tess and Gordon speaking. Could you quote the section (the sentences) from the transcript for us? We'll be happy to take a look.
