Tom’s tip for speaking about birthdays: In social terms, when a child becomes an adult, they stop wanting to have presents on their birthdays. This, of course, is not true. But it does mean that we have to pretend that we don't want presents, and when we give them, we have to make them look not very important.

hi
I'm from Turkey and my favourite food is mantı,  Kayseri's mantı is very popular in Turkey. It must be so small. mantı is a kind of macorani which  is serviced with yoghurt. you can do this cousine as adding spicy meat into a little paste. It is very delicious and I offer you to taste it

Hi! I'd like to tell about Ukrainian food. Our food is very tasty and calorific . Our traditional dishes are red borshch made of beetroots (beets) and dumplings with potatoes (we call it "pyrohy" or "varenyky"). You can eat dumplings with mushroom sauce, fried  chopped  onions or sour cream. I like with sour cream.  Holubtsi that is stuffed cabbage leaves . You can fill them with rice, minced meat, fried chopped onions, pepper, and salt or grated potatoes. I like simple and plain food. As a rule I try not to eat such dishes every day only from time to time because you can easily put on weight eating such things very frequently.

Ukrainians, especially in western part of country, cook "varenyky" on Sunday and dine them  when come from a church. It is pleasant to meet  whit a fellow-citizen))

Why exercises don't work?

Most of exercises don't work on line! :(

Hi Enrique - we moved the site onto a different server and some of the exercises were lost. We're replacing them so come back in a couple of days and they'll be working again.

Thanks
