Good! It's very good. really I am learning. Thanks, the podcasts are very useful.

I like sales. Usually, all of the malls and department stores sale in the every big celebrate days and festivals in my country. But I never heard about people sleep in the street for sales queue during this time.

Hi mates!

As far I'm concerned, in my country the most popular time for sales and bargains it's in january, I think in most of countries are in this mouth.

In my honest opinion it's a lillte crazy the thinks that the people do for to take bargains, like, for example to sleep in the street, waiting until the next morning for to be the first person to inside in the shops.

To sum up I would like to highlight that in my point of view, everybody I think, like tho buy more cheap, but not to become crazy for that. Be carefull with your money and of course where you buy this sales!

Best wishes!

Hi, in sentences like 'could you do me a big favour & i'm not sure i could love a spider.' why is 'could' used? can we say 'can' instead?

Hello amsda,

I'd suggest you read our can or could page, as the explanation there should help you understand how these two modal verbs are used.

Hi, in sentences like 'i'm being careful with my money. we've only been in one shop.' why 'being or been' is used? Can we say it like, 'i'm careful with my money. we've only visited on shop?

Hi amsda,

It is fine to use either 'been' or 'visited' here; both are correct.

Best wishes,

I love sales, but similar with Carolina, sometimes it's very tiring to get into the shops which are very crowded. In my country, the most common time for sales is in June or July when it's school holiday or when it's close to Eid Mubarak Celebration.

Hello, everyone.
In my country the sales happen at the end of the seasons: in January for winter, at the end of August month for the summer.I like sales because on this occasion I have the possibility to buy quality merchandise that in other period of the year would be more expensive.

Bye, tanks
