Dear members,
I really like learning English through songs, but it is not always applicable. It actually does stand as a way to get a bit familiar with culture, of course. But at least it is fun and learn.

Best Regards
Reza

I wonder why in the Ravi's and Tess' list of the best English groups there isn't "Slade"? I very like their things "Look Wot You Dun", "A Night to remember" and others.
P.S. Ravi sings quite well.

Hello,

Yeah. Its true, when I have to started to listen English music ,it is really helpful to learn English, because I can't understand the lyrics but when I started listen with lyrics then I improve it.Mostly I listen Akon ,Shakira, Lady gaga and Adam but I don't know the English music bands names.

Hello Adam and Jo! My favourites English bands are: Queen, Muse, Def Leppard, Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Gorillaz and the list goes on. I remember that one of the first songs I use to practise my English skills was To Steps Behind by Def Leppard. It's a gorgeous one and is easy to understand.

Thank you so much for your attention.

My favorite British bands or singers are The Beatles and Elton John. Their songs such as “Yesterday” and “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” are still popular in Japan as well.

I think English songs help me improve my English skill. English pronunciation is very different from Japanese, but I can make my English pronunciation better by singing English songs.

I have never listened to beatles. And as far as learning English is concerned i think in comparison with songs watching seasons helps a lot in learning English.

What is seasons means here ?

So wonderful!
