i was brought up with received pronunciation. studying modern language studies motivates me to improve my english. for my cae 'our own correspondent', which is a bbc popular radio-programme, is part of the syllabus.

i left out from in 'from our own correpondent' in the answer to the video.

Thanks so much

I used to think that BBC channel only serve news and documentary programme, until I watched Sherlock. This series is just......... - hhhh, I can't describe it in a word. Then, I looked for it on the internet and I found BBC has a lot of interesting programmes. In fact, I think BBC programmes are all outstanding. I have watched a lot of classic novel adaptations such as Pride and Prejudice, and North and South. Also, I listened to BBC radio, but stopped because of the internet bill. Right now, I am listening to Neverwhere BBC Radio dramatisation from the apps called Audible and enjoy the voice of British best actors.

I always access and surf the BBC website. It is a very diversed site and full of lots of wonderful materials for learning English.

hello . Adam , Jo , Tess and Ravi . How are you today? Are you happy, I hope so. Well I am really really big fan of BBC even I try to watch BBC channels but unfortunately in my country the web page of online streaming can't open. I think there is some restriction , I try my best ant other method to watch BBC channel but failed.I also download the I player but my bad luck it's didn't work. Although after my long long struggled I found the radio app of BBC. So , now I am little bit happy to listen BBC radio daily. But it's really my big wish to watch BBC channels. bye for now and have a successful day.

Hi guys. I think the BBC website is very useful indeed, with lots of information. I use to pay the TV License but I cancelled it a couple months ago, when I realised that I wasn't watching TV for 3 months in a roll. Nowadays I dedicate all my free time and money to my english studies, gym and my wife, who is pregnant for the first time. Thank you all involved on this Elementary Podcast and your dedication to make it happen. It is helping me a lot to improve my English and to get a better understanding of the British culture and history. I hope other people around the world is enjoying it as much as I do. Cheers
