Hello, I connect using my smartphone, the problem is that I can't watch the exercices in flash, Is there any way to do in PDF or something?

Thank you.

Hello mcgomez,

Some of the exercises are available in pdf form. You can find 'Instructions and downloads' links on many pages, and you can also find a link to a 'Printer-friendly version' on most pages, including this page. However, the Flash exercises are interactive, allowing the user to check their answers, see tips and so on, and this is not replicable in a pdf format. In this case, a Flash-compatible device is necessary to access them.

Best wishes,

On question number 3 (Task 1) I thought it was "I love playing by Shakespeare.." instead "I love plays". Could you please explain that?

Hello,

The key here is 'by' - 'playing by someone ' can mean for example playing a game near them, but nothing that would make sense in the context of Shakespeare.

What's the different pronounciation between 'life' and 'live' (adjective)? They are sound similar for me. Are they decided by the context of sentence?

Hello,

Our online dictionary (on the right) includes pronunciation examples you can listen to, so that's probably the easiest way for you to answer your question.

thank you :)

Why don't "Language Focus" scenes include transcripts? Would you mind adding them?

Hello,

We don't include transcripts because Language Focus is not for practising listening, it's for concentrating on the language.
