Lots of students, from all over the world, come to Britain each year to study. Nick visits Oxford University and the London School of Economics and talks to some students to find out what it's like to study in the UK.

Do the Preparation task first. Then watch the video. Next go to Task and do the activity. If you need help, you can read the Transcript at any time.

Hi Albisha,

You should be able to drag the prepositions (the blue words at the top) into the gaps in each sentence. Just click and hold one of the blue words and drag it across with your mouse. When you've finished click 'Check answers' to see how you did, or 'Finish' to see the correct answers.

Best wishes,

Peter

I attended Rapid Results College, for GCE Maths, while doing return to school, at six form college called Gymnasium.

Before I began to study at Open University.

Thank you very much Kirk

Hi, I don't understand what the preposition "with" means in the phrase: "It’s very popular with tourists and students." In this wording are "with" the same meaning of "among"? Thanks for help!

Hello rbrt,

Yes, that's correct: both among and with are commonly used with the adjective popular in sentences like this one. If you look up popular in our dictionary (see the search box on the lower right), you'll see several examples of how it is used.

Best wishes,
