Paris Scene 2

Ashlie and Stephen do some shopping in Paris - and improve their French!

Task 1

Task 2

Task 3

We can use expressions with '-ing' to explain how we do things. For example, the picture seller says:

  • I always pick up new words talking to tourists.

The expression 'talking to tourists' explains how she learns new words.

I've never been to Paris before and I'd like to go one a day ,, Actually I love this video so much and I'm so exciting to see it and know a lot of information about Paris. I found it useful
From my point of view learning English is all about confident and make many   personal efforts .

I think the most important thing when learning a foreign language is to achieve efficient communication. Never mind if you make some mistakes on grammar or pronunciation. The aim must be to you understand other people and they understand you. If you don't know (or don't remember) the proper words you confidently can use other relative words , so that people understand what you want to mean.
Paris's Left Bank ("Rive Gauche" in French) is the southern bank of the river Seine in Paris. This is a famous area in Paris, including the well known "Cartier Latin",  where used to live many artists (writers, painters) and philosophers, like Ernest Hemingway, Pablo Picasso, Jean-Paul Sartre and many others
.Nowadays you can meet many artists (especially painters) exhibiting their work.
Another place in Paris where you can find artists exhibiting their works and willing to do your portrait is Montmartre. Here is another famous landmark of Paris, the very beautiful church "La Basilique du Sacré Coeur de Montmartre". From this point you can have a panoramic view of Paris.
Have fun!!!
