Hello Teachers,

Would it be possible to prepare IELTS in 2 months and take the test, please?
May I know the difference between paper based and computer based IELTS.

Thank you.
Best Regards.

Hello Poeei
The IELTS is not a test that you pass or fail -- instead, it rates your English level on a scale of 0 to 9. If the only thing you need to do to prepare is become familiar with the test format, I think two months would be plenty of time, though of course it really depends on how much time you have.
Without knowing your or anything about your situation, I'm afraid we can't evaluate how long it would take you to prepare to get a specific result.
I'd suggest you read more about the test at TakeIELTS (https://takeielts.britishcouncil.org/), which is the British Council's official information site for people interested in the exam. There you can find lots of detailed information as well as some free practice materials.
Good luck!

Hello ghaforienglish

Have you tried using a different device or different browsers (e.g. Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome)? That often helps, but if it doesn't work for you, please let us know what browser version you are using and I'll see if I can figure out what's happening.

All the best

Three great tips:
1. Don't leave questions unanswered
2. Mark key words in the questions
3. Check spelling

Hello there, I am from Colombia currently living in the UK, I need to get band 7.0 sometimes I am thinking it is impossible to reach but I am feeling more confident when I read comments from people encouraging each other. The key is made commitments and be focused.
Best wishes.

Good luck for everyone.
