Hello nasirsami,

There's some general advice on improving your writing on our Frequently asked questions page that could be useful for you. A couple of other resources that might be useful for you are the Writing skills page (be sure to look at the B1 and B2 tabs also) in LearnEnglish Teens, which has exam-oriented writing tasks, as well as TakeIELTS, which has lots of information and advice on all aspects of the IELTS, along with model writing answers.

Good luck!

Hello BeautyCat,

You are welcome to submit your short writing pieces here and to ask for feedback from other users. I'm afraid that we aren't able to give feedback ourselves, as we are simply too small a team with too much other work to be able to do this. Sorry!

All the best,
Kirk

This is very helpful. Thank you.
I am going to take the exam soon. Is it possible to get 8.5 ? I need that band for some reasons.

Hello Derbas,

I'd suggest you refer to TakeIELTS – it has all kinds of useful information and advice.

your sincerely

Hello bazan65,

Yes, it is! In fact, the higher the mark you want, the more important it is to learn expressions. Probably the best to do this is by reading extensively – see our Frequently asked questions page for advice on improving your vocabulary. I'd also suggest you check out TakeIELTS, which has lots of useful information and advice for preparing for the IELTS.

All the best,
Kirk

I think everyone has his/her own ways to pass the exam. It depends on your English skills so dont stuck with one advice. Try to find out your strength and weakness points so work on them to improve your English.
