Hi Mika,

Do you mean that the word "kilometres" should be spelt "kilometers"? In British English, "kilometres" is correct, and in American English "kilometers" is correct.

If you meant something else, please let us know!

Best wishes,

Hi all,

Hi Tsr,

The advice I gave you on a different page will help you with your listening as well. You could use the Elementary Podcasts instead of Big City Small World if you'd like to. Most of the time, the best way to improve your listening is to listen to as many different people as you can, and these recordings will help you do that.

Best wishes,

Hello, my name is Carlos and i am studiying english. I like the podcast, but i would like to know how i can download the podcast in text.

Thank you! Bye.

Hi Carlos,

Just under the audio player and the short text (that includes "Didier Drogba"), you should see Instructions & downloads. When you click on that, you should see links to three pdf files - two of them contain the transcript, which is what you're looking for.

Best wishes,

Hi everybody,

I want to write some comments about a great sportsman Rafael Nadal, the Spanish tennis player. He is always fighting but, at the same time he is really polite with his opponents. His physical features aren't the best for tennis, however he has worked hard to improve and to evercome injuries. I think is a perfect model to the teenagers.

Hi everybody, I'll talk to you about Cappadocia.
Cappadocia is in Turkey, in Nevşehir. It's a historical settlement. There is a lot of houses in the big rocks. Cappadocia is in the UNESCO world heritage list. About 1,5 million people visit Cappadocia each years. There is a lot of things to visit in Cappadocia. Churchs, monasteries, valleys which keep historical city life, and Derinkuyu underground city which has got 12 stairs but you can visit only 8 stairs. You can fly by balloon and see all the Cappadocia. Of course you can taste a lot of rergional flavors. I went to there last year and just once.
