Hi everyone I think it's the better to tell the truth but some times in our life should be used a white lie to protect our friends to hurt from us.In most situations should be honest with everyone especially to get a good realation ship with someone that's my opnion.

Hello everyone, please help me, I know every tenses but when I write essay I make a mistake and I can't set up sentences correctly .This situation also affected my speaking. which grammar I must read again?

Hello sagopa,

It's difficult for me to give you specific advice without knowing you better, but I'd recommend you try reading less grammar and explanations and that you spend more time reading or listening to English. The Elementary Podcasts are perfect for this. As you listen and/or read the transcript, notice how different tenses are used. If any of them surprise you, then try to understand why they are used as they are. You can refer to our Grammar Reference and then ask us if it's not clear. Then imitate some of the forms you read or hear, i.e. write a short text yourself that is similar in some way, paying attention to the verb forms. If you can get help from a teacher with this, that would be ideal, but if not, you can still improve on your own.

Good luck!

All the best,
Kirk

hey everyone,
on the topic " is it always best to tell the truth?" I'd like to ask a general information question if anybody have the answer.
how is know for his honesty in history as the person who never told a lie " not even once" in his life?

Dear Friend

I made a ticket reservation and want to inform the staff of travel agency to (Amend or Modify) my fist name !!!! would you please give your advice !!
The difference between Amend and Modify !!! which one is correct ?

Regards
Hootan

Hello Hootan,

Both verbs are fine in this context, but I'd say 'modify' is more natural. You can say:

Hello. I have a ticket reservation and I'd like to modify the first name in the reservation.

Best wishes,

Peter

Hello and Thank you for your kind reply

Hi Dr

It's been a while, Happy New Year! Please help.
'Had it been you came with your bag . . .' and 'had it been you come with your bag . . .' which is correct?

Hello Counsel,

I'm afraid that neither of those sentences is correct and I'm not sure what you mean. Sorry!

Best wishes,
Kirk

Hello Dr

Having made this sentence I doubt if it's correct: "Criticism doesn't make one go weak; rather, it makes one go wild." Please if it's been correct. Why 'go' and not 'goes'?
