Hi, I shoud do mor to help environment. I do not a lot.

I think we have not yet become aware of the garbage that we generate daily, and I had to insist a lot in the supermarket so that they would not give me everything in several plastic bags. In my city we started thinking about all the plastic that we discard in the form of bags and wrappings of all kinds.

Hi Everyone,
Everywhere can be clean if clean our living place. We should be sensitive againist nature. People fell trees for build hotels. They slayghter nature. My responsibility warn people if they make mistake something. this world isn't just our world. too our children and our granchildren. nature friendly is human.

Hi Learning English Team!
I found this English Lesson Podcast Recently. So I am the beginner. The lerning system of this Podcast Process is very good and I try to study every day. Thank you all of the Staffs.

By the way, ther is one pargraph I can not understand. That is podcast Series 01 Episode 06/Voice 4.

Describing one man "#### and I don't see how saving your old newspapers is going to help apart from making people feel good about themselves."

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi monodama,

The sentence '...and I don't see how saving your old newspapers is going to help apart from making people feel good about themselves' is a comment about recycling. The speaker thinks that saving old newspapers does not benefit the environment, but is just a way for people to think that they are doing something helpful.

I prefer to use organic waste as fertilizer for my plants.

I think everyone must maintain his home town or city clear. Starting from getting things at home in order and cleaning to caring about nature. It’s really important and I’ve always treated serious to it. Unfortunately in Russia, there are not everyone thinks the same. It’s really unpleasant to watch rubbish staying after that people when you go somewhere. What’s the difficult in just to cast away plastic bottles into a dump basket? But it’ll seem just a tiny thing if you see to African countries. In such places like Uganda, for instance, there are loads of garbage from all over the world. Old computers and other electronic items, even old ships taking there from everywhere. It’s awful to see the beaches full of garbage and other places where people live. Of course, it’s a very poor country and because of people don’t have any way to make money they try to get valuable metals by burning of electronics. There are big quantity of black and poison smoke covering everywhere and people have to live there. Once I saw a travel program on TV, called Oryol and Reshka about this country. They showed a short interview about one young man working in a garbage pale. He’s an usual man who studied at college but he was empty of money, so he had to quit his study and look for a way to make some money to go his study on. A life span of those who work there is not over than 30 years. Many people are ill by cancer and other deceases. I’m getting scared of thinking of how much of poison smoke get the atmosphere and spoil it.
I’d like to know why do the world organizations specialized on environmental protection do nothing. They must do something.

I prefer not to use plastic bags.

Hello teacher! Could you explain to me this problem?
In Section 6, Carolina said that "Can you join as many clubs as you like?". I am not sure about how to use this pharse "as...as". What does it mean and how can I use it? I am looking forward to your reply!

Hi VoHoangHuan,

You can use 'as much/many as' to compare quantities or, as in this case, to refer to a possibility. Here Carolina asks if there is any limit on the number of clubs you can join. You can read more about this in the As much as, as many as section of this page.

All the best,
Kirk
